Terms of Service

Effective: July 5, 2026 (revised)

In short: MeetLog is free to use. No payment or refund applies. You are responsible for the legality of any recording and for obtaining participant consent.

1. Purpose

These Terms govern the use of the macOS application "MeetLog" ("the Service") provided by its independent developer ("Developer"), and the rights and obligations of the user ("you") and the Developer.

2. Description of the Service

The Service records meetings, lectures, and interviews on your Mac, and automatically generates meeting minutes via on-device speech recognition, speaker diarization, and summarization. Optional features such as cloud summarization and Notion export only operate once you explicitly enable them.

3. Formation of the agreement

The agreement is formed when you download, install, and launch the Service. You must agree to the recording-related notice shown on first launch to use the Service.

4. Free availability and scope of use

5. Your responsibility for recordings and content

The Service is a recording tool only. The following are entirely your responsibility:

6. Intellectual property

All rights to the Service itself (software, design, trademarks, etc.) belong to the Developer. Content you create using the Service (recordings, transcripts, summaries, minutes, etc.) belongs entirely to you.

7. Disclaimer

8. Changes and discontinuation of the Service

The Developer may improve or change the Service's features, or discontinue it if necessary. Material changes will be announced via release notes or this page.

9. Termination

You may terminate this agreement at any time by deleting the Service.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from the Service will be handled according to applicable law and procedure.

11. Changes to these Terms

If these Terms change, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date above.
